No Fin Steve

No Fin Steve is the debut children’s book from Australian singer-songwriter and author
Ziggy Alberts, inspired by real experiences, friendships and his time on Norfolk Island.
Set on Norfolk Island in the South Pacific Ocean, it tells the story of a grandfather and
grandson, their days together on the island and their shared connection to the sea. At
its heart is a simple but important lesson: learning how to swim and building the
confidence in yourself to experience life’s wonders.

Drawn from a family very dear to Ziggy, the book has been years in the making. It brings
their story to the page as a celebration of family, trust, independence and the lessons
passed between generations.

Most of all, it reflects the importance of being taught to believe in your own ability, while
sharing a love and respect for the ocean and all it offers.
